This workshop on Ethical Hacking was held on 25th October and 2nd September 2016. Engineers learnt to take preventive security practices to the next level by learning how to hack and how to identify and exploit weaknesses in a computer. As opposed to malicious “black hat” hacking, ethical “white hat” hacking involves using computer hacking skills to identify network security vulnerabilities and patch security holes before anyone can misuse them.
